Gran Lomo

Pampas del Sur has premium vineyards in three of the best wine growing regions of Mendoza. Potassium-rich alluvial soil, pure irrigation water from snow-melt off the neighbouring Andes, little rainfall and excellent thermal range feature amongst the exceptional natural conditions that the Mendoza terroir provides for growing quality grapes and creating extraordinary wines. In Luján de Cuyo and Maipú, clay / loam soil allows Malbec to develop to its full potential in the 334 hectares of Pampas del Sur vineyards. The Uco Valley vineyards sit at the foot of the Andes mountain range. The great thermal amplitude of this sub-region provides a more concentrated palate and excellent acidity.

Rafael Miranda

Winemaker, Rafael Miranda, enjoys a deep connection to the vineyard; something he inherited from his winemaking father, Luis. From a young age, he accompanied him and kept himself entertained weighing grapes on the winery’s scales. This, and countless other experiences like it with his father, culminated in his choice to study Oenology.
